UPSC Exam Eligibility
Each exam has different eligibility criteria. The common eligibility for all the exams is Indian Citizen, Graduation, and having completed the age of 18 years except for NDA most exams have these eligibility criteria. Is NDA conducted by UPSC?
Yes NDA is conducted by UPSC twice every year. The CDS exam is also conducted by UPSC on the same date, The CDS exam is also conducted twice every year. For the CDS exam graduation is compulsory.
When will IAS Exam take place in 2023?
The notification to fill out the form for appearing in the IAS exam will arrive tentatively in the month of February. The date for this is 1st February 2023 and the student can complete the registration up to 21st February 2023. The preliminary exam for the IAS is scheduled for the 28th of May 2023
What is Reserved for UPSC RT/ Examination in UPSC 2023 Calendar?
Reserved for UPSC RT/ Examination means the date is reserved for RT – Recruitment Test. The Recruitment Test is conducted by UPSC for different positions in the government. The notification for this examination is not provided in the schedule of the examination. However, if there is a need for personnel in the department, based on the need the notification will be advertised and then UPSC will conduct the exam for that position.
What is the salary of an IAS Officer?
The salary of an IAS Officer is 56000₹ + Dearness Allowance + House Rent Allowance + Transport Allowance. The maximum salary for an IAS officer at the Cabinet Secretary level is 250000₹
Can you give UPSC Exams after 50 years?
No, you cannot give UPSC Exam after 50 years. However, if you have a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir, and if you belong to SC/ST category then 32 years + 5 years of age relaxation + 5 years of category reservation. So the maximum age at which one can give UPSC Civil Services is 42 Years. Or if you’re Physically Disabled: Gen/OBC/Person with Benchmark Disability(EWS category) then the age limit is 42 Years. Ex-Servicemen Commission Officer: SC/ST category can also give exams up to 42 Years. So the maximum age is 42 Years with relaxation and category benefits.
